All returning volunteers must attend an orientation training before they are able to view and sign up for any available opportunities at Florida Children's Museum. Returning Volunteer Orientation will take place on Friday November 11, 2022 from 3:30pm - 4:30pm. YOU MUST SIGN UP BEFORE DAY OF EVENT.
What to Expect:
All orientations will include an in-depth overview of the updated Museum's docent/volunteer manual and policies, a tour of the new museum, basic scheduling and hour log procedure overview, and a safety training. Additionally, tips and tricks for working with children and families will be covered. Updated forms and waivers will also need to be signed during orientation. This is a time for you to ask any and all questions you may have, and to make sure you understand and are comfortable with the program guidelines.
